Screening The Goalie

smithbs0

Screening the goalie is one of the most important things to learn about when learning to play the game. Screening the goalie entails an offensive player getting in the vision of the goaltender, typically when the puck is at the point of being cycled around the offensive zone. The whole point is so that the goalie won't see the shot when it comes. Ideally, you get a tall player in front of the goalie to ensure that the goalie doesn't see it. The screen is an essential part of the game that one should definitely learn.
